Quantaflow, the experts in shopping centre footfall measurement, have announced that European developer Eurocommercial Properties have chosen their latest solution ’MyQuantaflow’ to count and analyse visitor flows in their French and Belgian centres. MyQuantaflow will be deployed across 11 shopping centres, covering a total GLA of 300,000sqm and attracting a total footfall of about 50 million visitors a year. This further positions Quantaflow as the French leader in shopping centre flow counting and analysis.
With its sensors and software suite Quantaflow’s solution guarantees an accurate counting whatever the shopping centre architecture or its visitor numbers. Heads of operations and management teams can quickly access visitor data and analyse flows based on indicators specifically designed for their shopping centres. Marketing teams can then take appropriate decisions, thanks to the dashboards that are easy-to use and offer real-time visualisation of visitor flows.
With the latest software suite MyQuantaflow, Eurocommercial asset managers can now access interactive dashboards allowing them, for instance, to choose how they want to display the data. One of the most interesting features is the opportunity to comment on a temporary occurrence like a change in visitor flows and to provide an explanation for it, thanks to personalised widgets. With the mobile app teams can also access visitor data in real-time, visualise changes in footfall as they happen and compare visitor flow trends with their chosen reference period.
Cécile Limousin, Operations Director, Eurocommercial Properties says : ‘We chose Quantaflow because their solutions are totally adapted to the needs of our shopping centres. The reliability of their sensors and the fact that their data is certified enable us to have a better knowledge of our centres and our visitors and to take more effective decisions in order to optimise our commercial offer.’
Guillaume Noblet, VP Sales & Marketing, Quantaflow adds: ‘We are honoured to have been chosen by a European developer as prestigious as Eurocommercial Properties. While it reinforces our position on the French market, it also shows that our expertise in counting and analysing visitor flows in shopping centres and especially our unique ability to do so in very large centres, are increasingly recognised at an international level.’
Founded in Lisieux (Normandy, France) in 1996, Quantaflow’s plant is now in Honfleur, while its offices are based in Issy-les-Moulineaux near Paris.
Trusted by the main French retail property developers, including Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, Ceetrus, Carmila, Altarea-Cogedim, Klépierre, Mercialys etc, the company decided earlier on to cover the whole of the supply chain for footfall counting and analysis. It is one of the rare providers to design and make its own sensors, while also developing its analysis software and offering two service teams – one team is in charge of maintenance, the other one is made of analysts specialised in shopping centres who are supported by data scientists and IT developers.
Quantaflow is part of Quanteo Group that is based in Lannion in Brittany, France. With a staff of 130 people the group is world leader in people counting. With eco-counter, it counts pedestrians and cyclists in 53 countries and works with the cities of New York, Sydney, Paris, San Francisco and Singapore among others.
After it merged with Quanteo Group, Quantaflow strongly increased its international reach and is now active in China (28 shopping centres), Spain, Portugal, Tunisia and New Zealand among others.
Latest technology developments include its real-time application that allows users to visualise visitor flows on smartphones, as well as new functionalities of its main sensor Quantium.
